Generate Observation File

Instructions

Fill out the required fields marked with an asterisk (*) to generate a CSV file in SCORE's data format. Use the Add observation row button to add new data rows for each individual observation. Basic observer information will be retained between rows, while observation-specific details will be cleared. Click Download CSV when you're ready to get your file. The file can then be uploaded to SCORE.

Observer information

Please provide your ORCID iD (or a comma separated list of all observer ORCID iDs), email, and location.

Location will be pre-filled with the last used location with the given ORCID iD, but this can be changed.

Basic data

Satellite name is optional, but if given, it must match the NORAD ID on the date of the observation.

For non-detections, please check the Not detected/seen box.

If you do not know the NORAD ID to use for the satellite number, you can find it using the Satellite Name/NORAD ID Lookup tool

The fields in this section will be cleared between data rows - except Observation Mode, Instrument, and Observation Filter.
